Scheduled power shutdowns across multiple areas in Oct 2025

SRINAGAR: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a series of scheduled power shutdowns affecting several areas in the coming days.

According to the Chief Engineer, Distribution, KPDCL, power shutdown of  33 KV Pampore-Pampore line and 33 KV Pampore-SIDCO line will be observed due to which Pampore-I, Pampore-II, IE Khrew & Cement Plants of Khrew  receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Frestabal, Khadermoh, Kadlabal, ITBP, Zewan, JKEDI, Drangbal, Namblabal, Tulbagh, IE Khrew & Cement Plants of Khrew will be affected from 09.00 AM to 03.00 PM on 16 & 20 OCTOBER, 2025

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Awantipora line will be observed due to which Awantipora-1st, II, AIIMS, IUST, DPL-Awp, LIS-Rajpora & Mills receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Malangpora, Padgampora, Beighpora, Barsoo and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.00 AM to 03.00 PM on 23 & 26 OCTOBER 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Nehalpora HMT line and 33 KV Nehalpora Markundal line will be observed due to which Shadipora, Markundal, Naidkhai and Shahgund receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Shadipora, Trigam, Maloora, Panzigam, Markundal, Naidkhai, Sumbal, Ankul, Gund Boon, Nesbal, Shahgund, Sultanpora, Gund Jehangir and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 16, 20 & 23 October 2025.

Moreover, shutdown of 33 KV Badampora Kurhama line will be observed due to which Kurhama, Dab and Sainik School receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Kurham,Yongpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Salina, Sainik School, Rabitar, Koondbal, GCET Safapora and adjoining areas will be affected from  09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 18 October, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Badampora Safapora line will be observed due to which Safapora receiving station shall remain off while power supply to  Safapora, Gratbal, Jarokabagh, Chewa and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 16 & 23 October, 2025.

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Potushai Aloosa line, 33 KV Bandipora Ajar line and 33 KV Potushai Nadihal line will be observed due to which Aloosa, Manigam, Panzigam, Ajar, Nusoo, Nadihal and Ajas receiving stations shall remain off while power supply to Aloosa, Malngam, Quil, Panzigam, Kuloosa, Kazipora, Khayar, Ajar Town, Arin, Ahmisharief, Nishat, Papchan, Ajas, SK Bala, Sadunara, Bazipora, Nadhihal, Guroora, Argam and adjoining areas will be affected from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 15 October, 2025.

Likewise, shutdown of 33 KV Potushai Gurez line will be observed due to which Dawar receiving station shall remain off while power supply to Dawar, Wanpora, Tragbal, Peerbaba, Razdan Top and adjoining areas will remain off from 09.30 AM to 03.30 PM on 15, 18 & 19 October 2025

Similarly, shutdown of 33 KV Awantipora Khiram Tap line will be observed due to which Khiram receiving station shall remain off while power supply to Khiram, Mahind and adjoining areas will be affected from 11.30 AM to 03.03.30 PM on 15, 19, 21 & 23 October, 2025.
