DC Bla reviews Progress of Developmental Works under District Capex 2025–26

BARAMULLA: Deputy Commissioner Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, today chaired a meeting to review the physical and financial progress of developmental works being executed under the District Capex Budget 2025–26.

During the meeting, the sector-wise progress of works taken up by various departments was discussed in detail.

The DC took a comprehensive review of ongoing projects and directed the concerned officers to ensure the timely completion of all works while maintaining quality standards. He emphasized strict adherence to timelines and called for regular monitoring to address bottlenecks hampering progress.

The DC further instructed departments to expedite the completion of works having a significant public impact, particularly in key sectors such as education, health, rural development, and infrastructure.

While stressing judicious utilization of funds, the DC directed the officers to achieve 100% expenditure targets well before the closure of the financial year.

The meeting was attended by the Chief Planning Officer, Assistant Development Commissioner, Superintending Engineers, District Officers, Tehsildars, Block Development Officers, Executive Engineers, sectoral officers, and other concerned officials.
