Srinagar: Police in Tangmarg arrested one drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson said that one Rafiq Ahmad Mir, son of Abdul Majeed Mir, resident of Kampora Tangmarg, was intercepted and later arrested at Drung Crossing, Tangmarg, after 20 grams of cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tangmarg for investigation, police said.
