As per the date- sheet, the exams will commence on November 8 for class 12th and November 19 for class 11th and are likely to conclude by second week of December.

In consideration of the disruptions in the academic calendar caused due to torrential rains/ cloudbursts and floods, the J&K BOSE has decided to grant 15% concession in syllabus for these classes also making attempt of 85% marks equivalent to 100%.

The J&K BOSE has urged students to prepare seriously for the examinations while reiterating its commitment to conduct the exams in observance of high standards of transparency and fairness.

The BOSE has exhorted invigilator staff to be completely professional while discharging their duties in order to safeguard the purity and integrity of exams and requested district administration, police and SED to extend cordial support in smooth, fair and orderly conduct of the examinations.

All students, parents and stakeholders are advised to check the date sheets of both the classes on JKBOSE website www.jkbose.nic.in to avoid being misled by fake and faulty interpretation of the concession criterion, said the statement.
