The camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from a cross-section of people of Kulgam district, including local citizens, community elders, social activists and youth. They raised varied issues related to healthcare, education, road connectivity, water supply, power infrastructure, and employment avenues before the Minister.

While listening patiently to the delegations, the Health Minister reiterated the government’s commitment to a responsive, transparent and accountable governance system. She assured the public delegations and citizens that their genuine concerns would be addressed with priority and in a time-bound manner.

She also instructed the concerned officers present to take time-bound and immediate action on some grievances raised by the people.

Minister Sakeena assured the public delegations and citizens that no voice will go unheard, and no genuine grievance will remain unaddressed.

Highlighting the government’s focus on people-centric policies, the Minister underlined that public darbars bridge the gap between administration and citizens by taking governance to the doorsteps of people. She further emphasized that health and allied sectors remain top priority, noting that substantial investments are being made to upgrade health infrastructure, improve diagnostics, and strengthen primary healthcare delivery in rural and far-flung areas of Kulgam district.

During the camp, the Minister also reviewed the status of ongoing development projects in the district and took feedback from the public regarding the quality of service delivery. She directed officials to enhance monitoring mechanisms to ensure the speedy completion of works and the equitable distribution of benefits under various welfare schemes.

The Minister appreciated the active participation of the people and assured that such grievance redressal camps would be held regularly to foster stronger government-public engagement.
