BARAMULLA: Minister for Agriculture Production Department, Rural Development Department, Panchayati Raj, Cooperative and Election Department, Javid Ahmad Dar, inaugurated the newly constructed building of Baramulla Public School (BPS), Delina, here today.
MLA Baramulla Javaid Ahmed Beigh; MLA Sopore Irshad Rasool Kar; MLA Pattan Javid Riyaz Bedar; MLA Wagoora-Kreeri Irfan Hafiz Lone; DIG North Kashmir and other senior officers of the district administration Baramulla were also present on the inaugural ceremony.
The Minister, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, in his address underlined the importance of moral education, stating that it forms the foundation of all fields of learning. He urged that moral values should be given equal importance alongside modern education to create well-rounded individuals and responsible citizens.
Javid Dar praised the remarkable achievements of BPS students in academics and extracurricular activities. Highlighting the need for a balanced approach to development, he said, “Economy and ecology, humanity and technology must move forward together to build a sustainable and better future,”
The Chairman, BPS, in his address, highlighted the institution’s achievements and its mission to provide holistic education.
During the grand inaugural ceremony, a vibrant cultural programme was also performed by the students which left the audience spellbound.
