Srinagar: Police on Thursday said they have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
During patrolling near Sumo Stand Bumthan, one Mohammad Mubarak, son of Sukar Ali, resident of JJ Colony, Bawana, Delhi, was arrested after 10 grams of heroin-like contraband substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Qazigund for further investigation, police said.
