SRINAGAR: Noted film actor Priti Sapru called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today.
She was accompanied by S. Paramjit Singh Chandhok, Chief Advisor, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Tej Sapru, film actor, and Sanjeev Saraf.
The delegation apprised the Lt Governor of their initiative to organize a commemorative event in Jammu and Kashmir to observe the 350th Martyrdom Day of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
On the same day, Zafar Iqbal Khan Manhas, former MLC, also called on the Lt Governor and raised issues regarding the movement of 10-tyre trucks on Mughal Road to ensure smooth transportation of fruits from the valley, besides commencement of work on the Niki Chanchmarag-Shadab Shopian to Dubjen road.
