Power shutdown schedule

SRINAGAR: The Chief Engineer, JKPTCL Kashmir, and the Chief Engineer, Distribution KPDCL, have issued separate shutdown schedules to carry out various works on transmission and distribution lines, which will affect power supply in several areas of Kashmir on August 31 and September 1, 2025.

Bandipora Region: To replace buckled bottom cross arm and tower leg at location No. 52 (D+6) of Circuit-I, shutdown of 33 KV Bandipora, Aloosa, Nadihal, and Gurez lines will be observed from 08:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Aloosa, Ajar, Nusoo, Naidhal, Panzigam, Ajas, Dawar and Gurez. Power supply to Aloosa, Quail, Malangam, Nusoo, Naidhal, Ajas, Garoora, Papchan, Nishat, Argam, Ajar, Arin, Saderkoot, Sadnara, Authwatoo, Dawar, Wanpora, Tragbal and adjoining areas will remain affected.

Srinagar City: Shutdown of 33 KV Wanganpora-Takenwari-BAMK line from 08:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, affecting Takenwari Receiving Station and areas of Shanglipora, Sangam and adjoining localities. Shutdown of 33 KV Wanganpora-Khanyar Rainawari line from 08:00 AM to 10:00 AM, affecting Khanyar and Rainawari Receiving Stations, with supply disruption to Miskeen Bagh, Rozabal, Maqdoom Sb, Radhpora, Hazari Bagh, Nowhatta, partially Jogilankar, Kondabal, Hassanabad and adjoining areas. Shutdown of 33 KV GIS (Nowshera) BAMK line from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon, affecting BAMK Receiving Station and areas of Industries, Raja Colony, Zadibal, Bota Kadal, Gili Kadal, BSNL Exchange and adjoining areas.

Ganderbal Region: Shutdown of 33 KV Badampora-Kurhama Dab line from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting Kurhama, Dab, GCET and Sainik School Receiving Stations. Power supply to Kurhama, Youngpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET, Safapora and adjoining areas will remain affected.

On 01 September 2025, a shutdown will be observed in the Pulwama and Shopian belts to facilitate commissioning works on the 220 KV Lassipora-Wagoora Section of WMTL. Shutdown of 33 KV Lassipora-Pulwama, Lassipora-Keegam-Mitrigam, Lassipora-Landoora and Lassipora-New Reshipora lines will be observed from 10:00 AM to 03:00 PM, affecting Receiving Stations at Pulwama, Pinglena, Tenghar, Covid Hospital, Mitrigam, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Chararipora, Landoora, Momen and Reshipora. Power supply to Pulwama Town, Tahab, Tenghar, Koil, Wasura, Chandgam, Litter, Arihal, Pinglena, Babhar, Pakharpora, Charipora, Akhal, Rajpora, Keegam, Gulshanabad, Wachi, Babapora, Landoora, Mantribugh, Ratnipora, Hermain, Hajipora, Zainpora, Turkewangan, Chitrigam, Reban and Nagbal will remain affected.
