DC Bla chairs DLIC meeting, sanctions 514 new cases under Mission YUVA

BARAMULLA: In a significant step towards promoting youth empowerment and self-employment, the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) Baramulla, chaired by Deputy Commissioner (DC) Minga Sherpa, today sanctioned 514 new cases under the Mission YUVA initiative.

The approvals include 510 cases under the Nano Category and 04 under MSME. With today’s approvals, the cumulative number of cases sanctioned under the scheme in Baramulla has reached 1141.

While reviewing the progress of the scheme, DC appreciated the efforts of the SBDU team and directed them to sustain the momentum of case verification at the SBDU level. He assured that the district administration would extend all necessary support to ensure smooth processing and continuous handholding of applicants.

Minga Sherpa urged the concerned officers to expedite application processing and preparation of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) to ensure timely financial assistance to beneficiaries.

The meeting was attended by the Assistant Director Employment Baramulla, District Social Welfare Officer, Lead District Manager, Cluster Head J&K Bank, District General Manager NABARD and Nodal Officer JKEDI, besides Functional Manager DIC.
