Srinagar: Ghulam Hassan Mir, senior Vice President J&K Apni Party, today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, and discussed several issues related to promotion of the tourism sector and reopening of various tourist destinations in Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Chander Parkash Ganga, Member of Legislative Assembly from Vijaypur, today called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Subsequently, Mahant Rohit Shastri, President, Shri Kailakh Jyotish and Vedic Sansthan Trust called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
He presented a Sanskrit nameplate bearing the Lieutenant Governor’s name and briefed him on the “Ghar-Ghar Sanskrit Abhiyan” (Sanskrit for Every Home campaign), an endeavour of his Trust under which Sanskrit nameplates are being installed at the public places, residences and offices of eminent personalities.
He also put forth the issue pertaining to the formulation of a pre-monsoon policy for mountain pilgrimages in Jammu Kashmir.
Meanwhile, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, Member of Legislative Assembly from Reasi, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and apprised him of various public important issues of his constituency.
Subsequently, Vikram Malhotra, BJP Spokesperson, also called on the Lieutenant Governor.
