The festival provided a rich platform for the students to engage with Urdu literature, books, and cultural activities. After visiting various book stalls, the students attended interactive live sessions on career counselling, art and culture, music and drama, and most notably, an Urdu Mushaira that highlighted the depth, beauty, and timeless appeal of the Urdu language.

Director School Education Kashmir, Dr. G.N. Itoo, while expressing his appreciation, said, “The participation of our students in such events not only strengthens their linguistic and cultural roots but also broadens their intellectual horizons. He said Urdu is a language of expression, grace, and heritage.

Chief Education Officer Srinagar, Gh. Mohi-Ud-din Bhat, while lauding the initiative, said that it is heartening to witness the active engagement of our students in a festival that blends education with culture. Their interaction with literary and artistic platforms will surely inspire them to pursue excellence in language, literature, and beyond, he said.
