Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Baramulla and Sopore and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
A police spokesperson informed that one Ishfaq Ali Lone, son of Ali Mohammad Lone of Hanjiwera, Pattan, was arrested at Lolpora near Grid Station after 20 grams of brown sugar-like substance was recovered from his possession.
At Maharajpora, Sopore, Latif Ahmad Lasso, son of Habibullah Lasso of Maharajpora Sopore, was arrested, police said, adding cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations for further investigation.
