Dy CM conducts extensive tour of Nowshera constituency

NOWSHERA: Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today conducted an extensive tour of Nowshera constituency to assess the status of development works, besides taking stock of people’s grievances.

During the visit, the Deputy Chief Minister met several public delegations who apprised him of their issues, including road connectivity, water supply, electricity, healthcare facilities and other developmental concerns.

The Deputy Chief Minister gave a patient hearing to the concerns raised by the residents, assuring prompt action on the same.

The Deputy Chief Minister also visited the village of Kangri and Pind to inspect the location identified for the construction of a Dak Banglow and Primary Health Centre (PHC).

The Dy CM said that both the projects have their own importance, especially PHC, as it is directly linked to the health of people living in far-flung and adjoining areas.

En route to Nowshera, the Dy CM also visited Rajal Dak Banglow, where he assessed the facilities being provided to the pilgrims of Shri Budda Amarnath Yatra. He interacted with the pilgrims and inspected the langar facility, besides other provisions made for them, including medical aid, drinking water and sanitation.

Earlier, the Deputy Chief Minister visited the house of Parvez Ahmed and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family.
