SRINAGAR: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo today chaired a meeting at Civil Secretariat here to review the developmental scenario of DH Pora Constituency of Kulgam district.
The meeting was attended by Secretary, Health and Medical Education, Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah; Director Health Services Kashmir, Chief Engineer, R&B, Chief Engineer, KPDCL, Executive Engineers of various wings of Kulgam district and other concerned officers.
During the meeting, the Minister held detailed deliberations with officers, mainly focusing on infrastructure gaps, civic amenities, healthcare, power, and road connectivity.
The Minister emphasized on the importance of efficient service delivery and underscored the urgent need for coordinated action to address the grievances of the people of DH Pora Constituency.
“Public welfare remains top priority of Government. The concerns of the people like water supply, electricity, healthcare services or roads, deserve prompt redressal,” she asserted.
The Minister, during the meeting, directed the R&B department to upgrade the roads leading to hospitals as well as other public institutions for the ease of people.
She urged the HoDs to submit status report of all ongoing projects in the Constituency, assuring them that necessary resource gaps wherever required will be filled.
