Srinagar: General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps Lieutenant General P K Mishra on Monday visited multiple forward brigades of Jammu and Kashmir to review the operational readiness amid prevailing security situation.

He was accompanied by GOC Ace of Spades, and GOC Crossed Swords divisions.

“#LtGen P K Mishra, AVSM, YSM, SM, #GOC #WhiteKnightCorps, along with #GOC AceofSpades & #GOC CrossedSwords Divisions visited multiple forward Brigades to review the prevailing security situation and was briefed on current modalities and operational preparedness,” Army’s White Knight Corps said on X.

“The visit focused on reinforcing force effectiveness and threat response mechanisms to ensure complete dominance of the operational space”.

“During the visit, #GOC #WhiteKnightCorps interacted with all ranks and motivated them to maintain high degree of operational readiness, professionalism and morale in line with emerging challenges,” Army added on X.

PCR Kashmir sets up dedicated helpline for ‘victims of terrorism’

Srinagar, Jul 14: Police on Monday informed that it has set up a dedicated helpline at Police Control Room here for the victims of terrorism.

“Any victim of terrorism may call at mentioned dedicated helpline numbers (from 10.00 AM to 06.00 PM on any working day) if having grievance about non registration of FIR in cases of victim of terrorism; non receipt of benefits from government by victims of terrorism; encroachment of land/property/harassment faced by victims of terrorism.”

The notified helpline numbers are 0194-2506548, 7889373200.

In case victim of terrorism intends to submit grievance application, the same be sent through email id pcrsgroff@jkpolice.gov.in, police said.
