Srinagar: Police have arrested two drug peddlers in Anantnag and recovered contraband substances from their possession.
In Bijbehara, one Bashir Ahmad Dar, son of Habibullah Dar, resident of Gadhanjipora, was arrested after 12 grams of brown sugar-like substance divided into 73 small polythene-wrapped packets was recovered from him.
At Katritang Bijbehara Showkat Ahmad Kumar, son of Ghulam Mohammad Kumar of Waghama, was arrested after 11.60 kilograms of poppy straw was recovered from his possession.
