Power shutdown alerts in Srinagar

Srinagar: The Chief Engineers of JPDCL and KPDCL have announced scheduled power shutdowns in Srinagar to carry out essential maintenance, infrastructure upgrades, and vegetation management.

July 13 (6 AM to 1 PM): Due to work on the 33KV Exhibition line, power will remain off in Batamaloo, PCR, HSHS, Baranpathri, and surrounding areas.

July 14 & 16 (8 AM to 1 PM): Shutdown of the 33KV BK Pora-Khanda Tap line will affect Chattergam, Magraypora, Suthsoo, Gowherpora, and nearby areas.

July 15 & 19 (8 AM to 12 Noon): Power cut due to line work will affect Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fatehpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri, and adjacent areas.

July 15 (8 AM to 12 Noon): Areas including Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulab Bagh, Umarhair, Ahmad Nagar, 90ft Road, Khalmulla, and others will face power outages.

July 16 & 20 (8 AM to 12 Noon): Shutdown of 33KV Alasteng Power House line will affect Beehama, Arampora, Manigam, Duderhama, Wayil, Gutlibagh, and surrounding areas.

June 14 (6 AM to 11 AM): In connection with reconductoring work, shutdown will impact Kurhama, Youngpora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET Safapora, and adjoining areas.

Authorities have advised residents and industrial units in the affected areas to plan accordingly and cooperate during the maintenance periods.
