Srinagar: Police in Kulgam have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
At Arreh in Kulgam, police arrested Waseem Ahmad Dar, son of Habibullah Dar of Shadab Krewah, Shopian after 5.6 kgs of poppy straw-like substance was recovered from him. His motorcycle (JK05B-4138) was also seized and a case registered for further investigation.
