Sakeena Itoo felicitates NEET achievers, 10th,12th meritorious students at GDC Pulwama

PULWAMA: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, today visited Pulwama and felicitated the NEET achievers and meritorious students of 10th and 12th classes of various Government Institutions from Pulwama district in a special function organized at Government Degree College (GDC), here.

MLA Pampre, Justice (Retd) Hasnain Masoodi; MLA Tral, Rafiq Ahmad Naik; MLA Zainapora, Showkat Hussain Ganie; Principal GDC Pulwama, Director Social Welfare Kashmir, Director School Education Kashmir, Director Family Welfare and Immunization, Director AYUSH and other senior officers of district administration and education department were also present on the occasion.

Addressing the gathering, Minister Sakeena lauded the students for their outstanding performances despite challenging circumstances. “You are the torchbearers of change, and your achievements today mark the beginning of a brighter tomorrow, not only for yourselves but for the entire region,” she stated.

Highlighting the role of education in shaping a resilient and progressive society, the Minister urged the youngsters to pursue knowledge with purpose and serve their communities with commitment. She also appreciated the efforts of teachers and parents who stood behind the students through their academic journeys.

The Minister underlined that the youth must be provided with the right opportunities, mentorship and resources to excel at the national and international levels.

On the occasion, the Minister also distributed regularisation orders among CPWs.
