Kulgam admin accords warm welcome to first batch of Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 at Qazigund

KULGAM: The first batch of Shri Amarnathji Yatra 2025 pilgrims was received with a warm and rousing welcome at Navyug Tunnel, Qazigund.

The reception was led by Deputy Commissioner Kulgam, Athar Aamir Khan, along with DIG South Kashmir, Javid Ahmad Matoo and SSP Kulgam, Sahil Sarangal.

Local citizens, trade fraternity and members of civil society enthusiastically participated in welcoming the yatris with garlands, flowers and traditional Kashmiri hospitality, reflecting the district’s spirit of communal harmony and brotherhood.

The atmosphere was filled with devotion, warmth and respect as the yatris expressed gratitude for the cordial reception.

Elaborate arrangements have been put in place to ensure the safety, comfort and smooth passage of the pilgrims throughout the yatra period.
