Legislators, delegations call on Jal Shakti Minister

SRINAGAR: Several delegations and legislators today met Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, at the Civil Secretariat, highlighting various issues impacting the welfare of the people.

Legislators Ali Mohd Dar, Shakti Raj Parihar and Showket Hussain Ganie raised constituency-specific concerns.

The discussions centred around key developmental issues, including improving potable water supply, upgrading road infrastructure and implementing the Forest Rights Act.

Additionally, various delegations raised specific issues like the construction of a protection wall in Gursai Mendhar, development programs for youth, tribal welfare and service-related concerns.

Javed Rana engaged with the delegations, listening to their grievances and assuring prompt redressal of genuine concerns.

He emphasized the government’s commitment to inclusive development and wethe lfare of the people, encouraging the legislators and delegations to continue highlighting important public issues.
