Srinagar: Police arrested a drug peddler in Sopore and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that Irfan Ahmad Sheikh, son of Abdul Majeed Sheikh of Panzipora Tarzoo, was arrested at Bun Astan Tujjer after cannabis-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Bomai for further investigation.
