Srinagar: Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, proudly inaugurated an Exhibition Cum Sale of Outfits today, showcasing the creative and technical prowess of the students from the Department of Garment Technology.
The event was organised as part of the students’ final project submission, reflecting their dedication and skill in fashion design and garment technology.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Imtiyaz Ahmad Shaw, Principal, Government Women’s Polytechnic College, Srinagar, who lauded the efforts of the students and faculty for their hard work and innovation. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives in bridging the gap between academia and industry, providing students with a platform to display their talent and gain practical exposure.
Shafaqat Yousuf, Principal, Government Polytechnic College, Ganderbal, graced the occasion as the guest of honor. A special sale counter was also set up, allowing attendees to purchase the showcased garments, further motivating the students.
