Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested a drug peddler and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that a vehicle (JK11B-0112) driven by Mohammad Maqbool Bhat, son of Abdul Kabeer Bhat, resident of Hashmatpora Hathlangoo, was intercepted at Parray Mohalla Haigam,. During the search of the vehicle, poppy straw-like substance was recovered, following which Bhat was arrested and his vehicle seized.
