Rana visits Gujjar-Bakerwal hostel in Baramulla

BARAMULLA: Tribal Affairs Minister, Javed Ahmed Rana, accompanied by the local legislators, today visited and inspected the Gujjar-Bakerwal Hostel in Baramulla.

The Minister interacted with the students seeking feedback on the facilities being provided to them by the hostel management. He also inspected the status of infrastructural edifice there and took stock of the needs and concerns of the students.

Rana directed Director Tribal Affairs, Mohd Mumtaz Ali, to implement measures to further enhance the hostel management, identifying and addressing gaps in the existing system as needed. He emphasized the need for ensuring a conducive environment for academic and personal growth of the hostel inmates.

“Present dispensation is determined to ensure the welfare of the tribal community and numerous proactive steps are being taken to address the concerns of the students and improve the hostel facilities,” he maintained.

He said the government is making sincere efforts to provide a supportive and nurturing environment for the students, enabling them to excel in their academic pursuits and reach their full potential.
