SRINAGAR: A delegation of Traders Association, Lal Chowk Srinagar led by its President Shri Mohammad Iqbal Khan called on Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, today.
The members of the delegation put forth important matters pertaining to the improvement of civic amenities at Lal Chowk and other issues of the traders’ community.
The Lieutenant Governor assured that appropriate action will be taken to address the issues projected by them.
Meanwhile, Dr. Karan Singh, former Union Minister and former Member of Parliament called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha.
Subsequently, Sheikh Najmus Saqib and Suhaib Feroz Jeelani, International Pencak Silat Players from Srinagar, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and apprised him of various issues pertaining to the extension of benefits under the sports policy to the sportspersons of Jammu and Kashmir.
