Led by J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra alongwith AICC General Secretary& CLP Leader G A Mir, Former PCC President Peerzada Mohammed Sayeed, Working President Raman Bhalla, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, Th Balbir Singh, Sdr S S Channi Ex MLA Amin Bhat, Satish Sharma, DCC President Anantnag, DCC President Kulgam, Abdul Rashid Lone and other senior Congress, Mahila congress, youth Congress leaders, the Yatra passed through surrounding areas displaying support and solidarity with the armed forces & message of unity and brotherhood.

Earlier, floral tributes were paid to the former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, recalling his revolutionary achievements in information & computer technology, youth and women empowerment by the 73rd & 74th amendments.

Saluting the armed forces for their bravery valour and discipline, JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra raised series of questions on the issue of failures of internal security, foreign policy besides Foreign minister Jaishankar ‘s admission of giving advance information to Pakistan before start of operation Sindhoor and the third-party announcement by US of cease fire between two countries.

Seeking the resignation of Home Minister Amit Shah as well as Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Karra said that the nation wants to know certain things after fully standing behind the nation and government and armed forces for stern action against terrorism and perpetrators of Pahalgam carnage as well as Pakistan.

He said a total lack of any security at Bisaran amidst a large inflow of tourists, despite advanced intelligence inputs, is a serious security lapse, and Home Minister Amit Shah should resign.

He sought the resignation of Jaishankar for treason, as per his own admission of providing advance information to Pakistan at the start of Operation Sindhoor.

Karra asked how the US president suddenly announced a ceasefire and insulted it by saying he used trade to ensure a ceasefire. The nation wants to know what kind of trade, whose trade was under threat.

He also questioned, “Has India accepted third-party mediation, bypassing the Shimla agreement. All these questions need to be answered in the special parliamentary session.”

He compared the martyrdom of Sayed Adil Shah with that of Maqbool Sherwani in 1947, which is still a part of the beautiful history of secularism of Kashmir.

AICC General Secretary and CLP Leader G.A. Mir saluted the bravery of the armed forces for conducting operation Sindhoor, but said that the entire Kashmir created history by condemning terrorism and standing behind victims and the nation in one voice. This has defeated communal and divisive forces trying to divide the vote bank. Unity in diversity is the basis of the strength of our nation.

Mir said the Modi Govt should come out clearly on various questions raised in the country, while echoing the same sentiments as Karra.

Mir further said that the Congress Party and the Gandhi family have sacrificed for the Nation in the face of terrorism, and two former Prime Ministers were assassinated.

Both JKPCC President and G A Mir along with other senior leaders welcomed Ex MLA Mohammed Amin Bhat into the party along with hundreds of supporters.
