Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Ganderbal and recovered contraband substances from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that one Nazir Ahmad Raina, son of Mohammad Ramzan Raina of Gagangeer Sonamarg, was arrested at a checkpoint established at Wayil Wudder after heroin was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Ganderbal and investigations initiated, police said.
