Srinagar: Police in Ganderbal have arrested a “notorious” drug peddler and seized a significant quantity of contraband substance from his possession.
Acting on “credible information”, police raided the cowshed of one Fayaz Ahmad Chichi, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din Chichi at Chichipati Hariganiwan and seized 9.8 kgs of contraband substance (Bhang Patri powder) concealed in a nylon bag. The accused was arrested on the spot and further investigation is underway.
