During the visit, DC inspected key infrastructure projects including the Yatri Niwas Baltal, fencing work, upgradation of frisking points and other essential arrangements. On-spot instructions were issued to the concerned departments and executing agencies to expedite the completion of these works within a fixed timeline.

During the visit, DC was accompanied by the Additional CEO of SASB, the Director of Information, SSP Ganderbal, ADC Ganderbal, and other officers.

Later, the DC chaired a joint meeting with concerned officers and representatives of various service providers to finalize the rates for key services provided to the pilgrims, including ponies, pithus, dandies, palkis, and tents during the Yatra.

The meeting, held at Sonamarg, aimed to ensure fair pricing and quality service delivery during the upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 (SANJY) via the Baltal route.
