Hajj-2025: DC Sgr extends greetings to pilgrims, wishes them safe, secure journey

SRINAGAR: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Dr. Bilal Mohi-Ud-Din Bhat, today visited Bait-ul-Hujaj (Haj House) Bemina, where Ist batch of Hajj Pilgrims left in buses for Srinagar International Airport to embark on the sacred journey to Saudi Arabia.

SSP, Srinagar, Sandeep Chakravarthy, Vice Chairman J&KHaj Committee, Talib Hussain, Executive Officer, J&K Haj Committee, Dr. Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, Haj Officer Irshad Ahmad, members of the Haj Committee and other concerned were present on the occasion to see off the Haj Pilgrims.

Interacting with the Pilgrims, the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar congratulated them for getting the opportunity to perform Hajj.

DC along with SSP Srinagar also welcomed the Pilgrims with flower petals and also wished them a safe and secure pilgrimage.

They appealed to the pilgrims to pray for lasting peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir and the well-being of the people during their sacred pilgrimage.
