New Delhi: Kashmiri doctor and columnist Dr Tasaduk Hussain Itoo has been elected as ‘Academic Life Member’ of Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI), the top national diabetes research organization and leading scientific authority of diabetologists in India.

This esteemed recognition acknowledges Dr. Itoo’s contributions to the field of diabetes care, education and research, solidifying his position as a respected figure in the medical community.

Pertinently, the Academic Life Members are elected by the Executive Committee (EC) of RSSDI as distinguished professionals who have recognized teaching or research experience, academic affiliation with significant contribution in the field of diabetes.

As an Academic Life Member of RSSDI, Dr. Itoo will continue to collaborate with fellow professionals, advance diabetes research, and promote high-quality patient care.

Currently serving at Narayana Health, Dr Itoo besides having affiliations with leading medical organizations, also holds the distinguished title of Fellow of the International Diabetes Federation (IDF Fellow, Belgium).
