Kupwara: In connection with the smooth and fair conduct of the NEET (UG) 2025 examination, Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan today carried out a comprehensive visit of various examination centres in the district.

During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner thoroughly inspected the examination arrangements and reviewed the overall preparedness on the ground.

She interacted with the principal, designated Magistrates, and security personnel deployed at the venue, emphasizing strict adherence to examination protocols. The DC also inspected the control room set up at the centre to ensure real-time coordination and monitoring of the examination process.

Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited the GDC Kupwara, Government Higher Secondary School Handwara and other designated NEET centres, to assess the arrangements there. She was accompanied by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Handwara, Javaid Naseem Masoodi and expressed satisfaction over the conduct and coordination observed at the centre.

Following the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Kupwara Mumtaz Ahmad visited all five NEET examination centres across the district to supervise arrangements and assess the on-ground situation.

A total of five centres were established across the Kupwara district for NEET 2025. Out of 2,159 registered candidates, 2,100 appeared for the examination, while 59 candidates remained absent.

The district administration reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring a transparent, secure, and hassle-free examination environment for all candidates, in coordination with the concerned stakeholders.
