Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power shutdown on May 3 in several areas of Ganderbal district due to pole erection, cable stringing, and DTR earthing work.
According to the Chief Engineer of KPDCL, the power supply from the Badampora–Kurhama Dab 33 kV line to key receiving stations—including Kurhama, Dab, GCET, and Sainik School—will remain suspended from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
The outage will affect the following areas: Kurhama, Youngoora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Sainik School, Rabitar, Kondbal, GCET, Safapora, and the adjoining areas.
Residents in the affected localities are advised to take necessary precautions and plan accordingly during the scheduled power cut.
