Srinagar: Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir Waqf Board, Dr. Darakhshan Andrabi, Thursday handed over an appointment letter to Nazakat Ahmad Shah, brother of Syed Adil Hussain Shah, who was killed while confronting terrorists during the recent attack on tourists in Pahalgam’s Baisaran Valley.
Alongside the appointment letter, a Bravery Award was presented to Syed Adil Hussain, who gave his life during the April 22 terrorist attack that claimed 26 lives.
The function was attended by senior BJP leaders. In the presence of top leadership, the sacrifice made by Adil was honoured, and solidarity was shown to his family. (KNO)
