“The recurring ceasefire violations in various sectors along the Line of Control (LOC) and international border are causing significant instability and fear in the region, evoking painful memories of past destruction. The people of Jammu and Kashmir are bearing the brunt of escalating tensions along the borders, putting their lives and livelihoods at risk. It is imperative that our neighbouring country engages in introspection and allows our people to live peacefully and with dignity. While our security forces are working tirelessly to protect our borders, the central government must implement effective measures to ensure the safety and security of those living alongside the International Border (IB) and LOC. It is crucial that our people are able to carry on with their daily lives without constant disruption and fear for their safety, both for themselves and their livestock,” he said.
