To carry out the replacement of the 33KV CT Set at Receiving Station Kurhama and repair of the 33KV VCB at R. Safapora, the 33KV Badampora-Kurhama line will remain shut. Consequently, the 33/11KV Receiving Stations at Kurhama, Dab, and GCET will be offline, impacting power supply to Kurhama, Yangoora, Baroosa, Old Dab, Checki Baba, Salun, and adjoining areas on April 23 and 24.

Similarly, the shutdown of the 33KV Badampora-Safapora Tap line will affect the 33/11KV Receiving Station at Safapora, disrupting electricity in Safapora, Gratbal, Jarokabagh, Mansbal, and nearby areas during the same time and dates.

In another maintenance drive, to facilitate upgradation and stabilization of the 33KV Alastang-Nagbal Line, shutdown of the 33KV Alastang-Nagbal line has been scheduled for April 24 and 26. This will affect Receiving Stations at Alastang, Nagbal, Gadoora, and Tulbagh, disrupting supply to Shuhama, Bakura, Darend, Nagbal, Fethpora, Gadoora, Tulbagh, Chunduna, Shairpathri, and adjoining areas.

In connection with this, the 33KV Alastang-Zakura line (pertaining to STD 1st) will also be shut down on April 24 and 26, affecting Receiving Stations at Gulab Bagh, Ahmad Nagar, and Umarhair. Areas expected to experience power outages include Pandach, Pathan Colony, Gulabagh Mir Mohalla, Umarhair, Nowhama, Ahmad Nagar, 90-ft road, Khumulla, and surrounding localities.

Residents in the affected areas are advised to make necessary arrangements and bear with the inconvenience as KPDCL undertakes these essential system strengthening works to ensure improved power reliability in the future.
