Jammu, April 20 (GNS): In a tragedic incident, three people were killed due to cloud burst in Ramban district on Sunday.

Officials told GNS that cloud burst hit this morning in Seri Bagna area, resulting in death of three people.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban Baseer Ul Haq told GNS that due to continous rainfall throughout night, landslides, flash floods destroyed many immovable properties as also some vehicles on Jammu-Srinagar Highway in the district.

He further said a massive rescue operation is underway. He said men and machinery have been pressed into service since last night as roads are also closed down due to landslides.

Unfortunately, three people also lost their life due to cloud burst, he added.(GNS)
