Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr. Farooq Abdullah today paid tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.

In a statement released from the party headquarters, Dr. Farooq praised Ambedkar as a visionary leader who fearlessly challenged deep-rooted injustices that denied rights and dignity to many. He likened Ambedkar to Sher-e-Kashmir, both of whom exemplified the transformative power of education in paving the way for equality and justice.
