Srinagar: Police have arrested a drug peddler in Kulgam and recovered contraband substance from his possession.
A police spokesperson informed that Bilal Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Hassan Lone of Khee Jogipora, was arrested at Gundchahal Crossing, Shirpora, after 4.6 kgs of poppy straw-like substance was recovered from his possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Yaripora for investigation.
