“We wanted to discuss and reject August 05, 2019 Parliamentary resolutions. We were not allowed. House was adjourned, said Sajad Lone.

There is a fixed match going between NC and BJP. At some issue, one party makes hulla gulla, and some other stage the other one does it, Lone said.

He said that his party, PDP and some MLAs presented a resolution to the speaker. a peoples resolution, regarding restoration of Article 370 and 35 A.

“NC will not allow it, they will adjourn the house so that no discussions are held. They are actually supplementing to the BJP agenda,” Sajad said.

PDP MLA Waheed Parray while targeting NC for aligning with BJP on Article 370 and 35 A said that the government led by Omar Abdullah even didn’t allow a discussion on Waqaf Bill.

“While we tried to bring the bill in house, NC sabotaged it as their Chief Minister was busy clicking pictures in Tulip garden with the architect of the bill, Kiran Rijiju,” said Parra.

Though the speaker, A R Rather tried to justify his action of adjourning the session, questions remain and the government has to answer the same, experts say.
