Srinagar: Police in Sopore have arrested three drug peddlers and recovered psychotropic substances from their possession, a police spokesperson informed.
At Krankshivan Colony, police intercepted a vehicle (JK05F-5796) with three persons on board. Identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, son of Ghulam Hassan Lone of Wagub; Waseem Ahmad Rather, son of Bashir Ahmad Rather of Krankshivan, and Yawar Ahmad Lone, son of Abdul Majeed Lone of Wagub Sopore, all three were arrested after 288 capsules of SpasmoProxyvon Plus were recovered from their possession.
A case under relevant sections of law has been registered at Police Station Tarzoo for investigation, police said.
