Srinagar: A Special Police Officer (SPO) injured in a road accident earlier this week near Navyug Tunnel in Qazigund succumbed to his injuries on Saturday.
Two persons had died and three others, including an SPO, were injured after an SUV skidded off the road and hit a police check-post near Navyug Tunnel on April 1.
The SPO, identified as Showkat Ahmad, breathed his last today after battling for life for four days, said an official.
