Jammu: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider were killed after their motorcycle met with an accident in Thanamandi near the Fatehpur area of Rajouri district on Sunday.

Officials told GNS that a motorcycle bearing registration number PB08CJ collided with an Alto car (registration number JK11E9686) at Fatehpur, resulting in the on-spot death of the motorcyclist and his pillion rider.

The deceased have been identified as Azhar Hussain Shah (19), son of Mazhair Hussain Shah, and Toyaib, son of Abdul Qayoom, both residents of Saim Smith Fatehpur. Their bodies have been shifted to GMC for medico-legal formalities.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the accident. (GNS)
