Power shutdown alert in south Kashmir on April 8 & 10

Srinagar: The Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas of South Kashmir to facilitate the dismantling of old poles as part of the stabilization of the 33 KV Landoora line originating from the GIS Lassipora Grid Station.

According to the Chief Engineer of KPDCL, the power supply will remain affected on April 8 and 10 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM in the following areas: Landoora, Mantribugh, Chakoora, Hermain, Hajipora, Frisal, Watchi, and Moomin. Additionally, receiving stations at Landoora and Moman (pertaining to STD-Bijbehara) will also experience power disruptions during this period.
