Providing details about the incident, Dr. Faisal, who was involved in the procedure, stated that CHC Kralgund received a patient, Masooma Begum, wife of Shazad Ahmad Gazi, from Naribal on Tuesday night.

“The patient was in the final stage of her pregnancy,” he said, adding, “The hospital staff on night duty had to be taken into confidence to handle any complications that might arise.”

He further stated, “However, under the able guidance of the concerned Medical Officer, Dr. Faisal, the delivery was successfully conducted on April 2, 2025, at 2:30 AM.”

The patient gave birth to a healthy baby boy through a normal delivery. Both the mother and the newborn are in good health, the on-duty doctor confirmed.

The delivery team included Javid Ahmad (Lab Technician), Gh Ahmad Mir, and Zubaida Hassan.

Expressing his satisfaction over the successful procedure, Dr. Faisal remarked, “This achievement will go a long way in boosting the morale of other members of the medical fraternity.”
