Jammu :The General Administration Department (GAD) of Jammu and Kashmir has issued a transfer order of 48 officers across the Union Territory. The move, formalized through Government Order No. 421–JK(GAD), aims to streamline governance and address administrative vacancies.

According to the order, Mohammad Ashraf Sheikh (JKAS) has been transferred from Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Pulwama, to ADC Awantipora, replacing Nazir Ahmad Mir. Riyaz Ahmad Shah (JKAS) has been moved from Joint Director (Administration), Directorate of Rural Development Kashmir, to ADC Kupwara, replacing Mohammad Rouf Rehman. Anil Kumar Thakur (JKAS), previously ADC Basholi, has been appointed ADC Doda, succeeding Sudershan Kumar.

Several other key postings include Sundeep Singh Bali (JKAS), who has been promoted from Programme Officer, ICDS Anantnag, to ADC Anantnag, replacing Alyaz Ahmad Naisroo. Pankaj Bhagotra (JKAS), Programme Officer, ICDS Reasi, has been assigned as ADC Basholi, while Ramkesh Sharma (JKAS), Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Jammu, has been transferred to ADC Sunderbani, replacing Rajeev Magotra.

Chander Parkash (JKAS), Additional Secretary, School Education Department, has been appointed ADC Rajouri, replacing Rajeev Kumar Khajuria. Pritam Lal Thapa (JKAS), a member of the J&K Services Selection Board, has been posted as ADC Nowshera, succeeding Babu Ram Tandon. Syed Altaf Hussain Musvi (JKAS), SDM Gulmarg (with additional charge as Sub-Registrar), has been transferred to ADC Baramulla, replacing Zahoor Ahmad Raina.

In other changes, Muzamil Magbool Beigh (JKAS), SDM Srinagar (West), has been appointed ADC Anantnag, replacing Fayaz Ahmad Banday. Mir Imtiyaz-ul-Aziz (JKAS), Deputy District Election Officer, Srinagar, has been assigned as ADC Srinagar, replacing Syed Ahmad Kataria. Syed Fahim Ahmad Bihagi (JKAS), Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD) Anantnag, has been transferred to ADC Ganderbal, succeeding Gulzar Ahmad.

Further, Vishavjeet Singh (JKAS), Secretary, Jammu Development Authority, has been posted as ADC Kathua, replacing Ranjit Singh.

Aadil Fareed (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner (Central), Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, has been appointed ADC Srinagar, succeeding Khalid Hussain Malik. Sunil Kumar Bhutyal (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Doda, has been transferred to ADC Bhaderwah, replacing Sunil Kumar.

The reshuffle also includes appointments at the sub-divisional level. Javed Naseem Masoodi (JKAS), SDM Lolab (with additional charge as Sub-Registrar), has been posted as SDM Handwara. Mudasir Ahmad (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner Panchayat, Kupwara, has been transferred to SDM Lolab, while Manu Hansa (JKAS), Deputy Director, Tribal Affairs Jammu, has been appointed SDM Jammu (South), replacing Rafiq Ahmad.

Among other changes, Reyaz Ahmad Shah (JKAS), Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies Kashmir, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Kulgam, replacing Mushtaq Ahmad Lone. Shafqat Majeed Bhat (JKAS), Collector PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control Jammu, has been transferred to SDM Mahore, replacing Mazahir Hussain Shah. Deepak Kumar (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner, Relief Organization (Migrants) Jammu, has been posted as SDM Jammu (North).

The order further lists multiple reassignments across various departments. Anshumali Sharma (JKAS), Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Reasi, has been transferred to SDM Bhavan, Katra, replacing Vikas Anand. Ashraf Pervaz (JKAS), Deputy Director, Food, Civil Supplies Jammu, has been posted as Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Doda. Ajay Bharti (JKAS), Deputy Director, Estates Jammu, has been transferred to Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Samba, replacing Kusum Chib.

Other transfers include Mukhtar Ahmad (JKAS), posted as SDM Akhnoor; Irfan Bahadur (JKAS), transferred to SDM Srinagar (West); Shokat Hayat Mattoo (JKAS), appointed Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Ramban; and Jahangir Ahmed (JKAS), transferred to SDM Khansahib.
