Dr. Farooq, Omar Abdullah greet people on Eid Ul Fitr

Srinagar: The President of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference, Dr. Farooq Abdullah, and Chief Minister and Vice President Omar Abdullah, have extended warm greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr.

Dr. Farooq, in his Eid greetings, said, “I extend my heartfelt wishes to the people on this auspicious occasion, praying that the Almighty accepts our month-long fasting, repentance, prayers, and rectitude. May the Almighty promote unity among people and further the cause of harmony and brotherhood in J&K and around the world.”

CM Omar Abdullah, while extending warm wishes to the people on the auspicious occasion of Eid ul Fitr, emphasized, “On this day, we should remember the underprivileged and include them in our happiness. There is no greater act than sharing our resources with those in need. I hope that the flames of piety and faith continue to burn bright in our families and neighborhoods throughout the year. I extend my warmest wishes to the people on this auspicious eve, with the hope that the needs of the less fortunate are met by the more affluent. May this auspicious day bring about an increase in peace, prosperity, and brotherhood in J&K.”

Among others senior leaders Ali Muhammad Sagar, Dr. Sheikh Mustafa Kamal, Nasir Aslam Wani, Shammi Oberoi, Tanvir Sadiq, MPs Mian Altaf Ahmad, Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi, Media, Social Media, YNC, Women’s wing, Minority wing functionaries have also extended warmest greetings to people on the auspicious occasion of Eid Ul Fitr.
