Srinagar: Thousands of devotees have assembled at Dargah Hazratbal, Aasar-e-Shrief Soura and other masjids, khankahs and shrines for night long prayers to observe Shab-e-Qadr.

Muslims believe that it was during Shab-e-Qadr (Night of Power) that first verses of Holy Quran were revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). This time the night long prayers would followed by Jumatul Vida (the last Friday of Ramzan).
